Launch: Samsung GALAXY Music With Dual Stereo, FM Real Reviews October 10, 2012 Mobile Phones & Accessories views: 13524 After creating the potential iPhone killer, Samsung is now concentrating on offerings for those living below the GALAXY S III price line. Just yesterday afternoon, India time, the company announced its entry-level smart phone from the GALAXY line-up – the GALAXY Music, a phone targeted at music lovers. The GALAXY Music runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and is powered by a yet unspecified processor which the press release claims is ‘powerful enough to guarantee smooth and fast performance.’ This is a touch screen device with a 3-inch, low-resolution screen that should be good enough to scroll through your playlist. As for memory, the phone has an internal memory space of 4GB, expandable via a MicroSD card to 32 GB, with a 512 MB RAM. The phone has dual-frontal stereo speakers, and features like Sound Alive that enhances bass, tone and quality of sound; and SRS that adds effects to music and Smart Volume. Indian consumers will love this bit of information — the phone has a Stereo FM radio, and a dedicated music key on the phone takes you directly to the music player. The file types supported by the phone are MP3, MIC, FLAC, WMA, among others. Moving away from music, the phone has a 3 Megapixel rear camera and no flash. For connectivity, it has Wi-Fib/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0 and a microUSB port. Other features incorporated into the phone are the usual — Touchwiz, Samsung Apps, Samsung Hub, and Music Hub, Samsung ChatON. The company has not divulged the price so far, but has informed that soon to follow will be the Samsung Music in a Dual-SIM version that will be called Galaxy Music Duos.
