Moto X+1 Plonks Itself Between Samsung Note 4, iPhone 6 Launch Real Reviews August 15, 2014 News & Updates views: 842 The first few days of September will see a lot of big-ticket mobile phone launches – the Samsung Note 6 on the 3rd and the iPhone 6 on the 9th. The latest to announce a launch is Motorola with the X+1 on September 4. On the same day, the company will also officially launch their new Moto G phone and the Moto 360 smartwatch. Just when many here in India were waiting to hear peer reviews of the Moto X and Moto G from their friends and families, the X+1 and G2 will take things a notch higher with better specs and performance, while the Moto 360 is already taking attention away from existing uninspiring smartwatches in the market and Apple’s iWatch which will launch a few days later. The Moto X+1 Specs Gathered from reports and rumours online, the Moto X+1 is expected to have a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. It will likely sport a 12MP rear camera, a 5MP front snapper and run the latest Android L operating software. Moto G2 Specs Speculations indicate the G2 will have a 5-inch, 720p display, a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera, and will run the Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Moto 360 Smartwatch A subject of discussion for almost a month now, this Android smartwatch has taken a welcome departure from the obvious futuristic gizmo design of its counterparts. Instead, it’s a simple round contraption for the wrist and will see its official launch at this IFA. The much talked-about design apart, the watch is making news for wireless charging via magnetic Qi induction as opposed to USB charging. Motorola had earlier said this watch will be compatible with more than just the Moto X or the Moto G. It can be tethered to smartphones running the Android 4.3, 4.4 or L.
